Falkirk Wheel

Falkirk Wheel is definitely worth a visit, what a piece of engineering this is!  1,200 tonnes of steel was used to create the wheel and over 1,000 construction staff helped to build the master wheel. The Wheel is a rotating boat lift located in central Scotland which connects the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. 

Falkirk is situated around 23 miles from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. 

The Kelpies are another place just under 5 miles from Falkirk Wheel and well worth a visit.
